Exactly a year and 2 months back I happen to step in VESIM for the first time, not as a candidate for the GD/PI round but as a student who was proud to be selected as a PGDM student. 

The first day at VESIM started with the orientation programme to know your faculties and the college well! Those vibes around me gave me a very positive feeling to achieve something in life. Then the outbound training brought a stream of thoughts down my mind of how I will I be able to get in with my new batch mates, who will be my roommates, will I be able to stay and enjoy for the next 2 days, will I make a group that I’ll be happy with and all such thoughts. Funny right? But I guess that was the case with everyone out there. 

And then the outbound training day came, my answer to all the questions were almost solved when our Professors made us play various management games where teamwork was a must. At the end of outbound day I finally made a gang of girls whom I called my friends! Days passed and I was so happy being in VESIM, those vibes of belonging here, being everyone’s friend, taking up various roles in college right from taking up the responsibility of becoming the placement coordinator, member of branding cell and hosting the HR Summit 2018, National Research Colloquium 2018, Skit for teacher’s on teacher’s day, Fresher’s party, Sell-On activity, MAVIM, etc. everything just turned up into such beautiful memories and unforgettable experiences. The best out of all these experiences is the YUVA FOR SEVA INTERNSHIP wherein I got a chance to work with my batch mates where we individually taught all the self-employed ladies of CHEMBUR- MAVIM the basic subjects like English, finance, computer and marketing for 2 weeks which ultimately made us hard to say a goodbye to them all at the end of 2 weeks. 

This can happen only at VESIM where everyone gets to be experience new things, enjoy and most important learn a lot from whatever events take place. Every single day there are events conducted which kept us so much updated about the world by industry experts and real time experiences. The atmosphere at VESIM has been one like a home, where you get to learn and be yourself with people around you appreciating you, specially our faculties who have always been a role model for each and every student. 

Now when I have stepped in the final year of my course and having been very few months left in VESIM I feel so lucky and proud to be a part of VESIM with my group of friends and so much more people whom I’ll take forward with me for sure from VESIM. The best part of VESIM is Even though I pass out and go from VESIM it will never leave my side with my faculties and friends always being there out for me whenever I’ll need them. The belongingness, that family like atmosphere will always be with me! 

Lastly to end “The most beautiful things in life aren’t just things, they are the places and people, memories and moments, smiles and laughter”
